I am part of 3Bee's "Adopt a Hive" project. This project allows me to care for bees through innovative bee monitoring technology. Here you can choose and adopt one or more distance hives that I will engage in caring for. My hives are waiting for you and they are all protected and cared for only with innovative, genuine methods and without the use of antibiotics.
Having always been fascinated by an old honey extractor in the warehouse, in 2014 I decided to resume the activity that my father and some friends had undertaken as a hobby in the 1980s. My small company is home to 20 families of Apis Ligustica, the Italian breed par excellence, and is located in Vallerano, among the centuries-old chestnut groves of Monte Cimino. The bees produce chestnut, lime and millefiori honey. I loved the complexity of bees right from the start, making Petronius's words in the Satyricon my own: 'As for bees, I consider them divine beasts: they vomit honey that is said to have been received as a gift from Jupiter. On the other hand they sting, because where there is sweet you will also find bitter'. Since 2014, many steps I have taken together with the bees, and much I have grown thanks to them. If I look at a field today, I think about how many and which flowers will bloom there.and I see a bee, I try to understand in which direction the hive is located. Understanding that behind a jar of honey there is a complex world, a self-sufficient superorganism, challenged today by intensive cultivation and climate change, is the greatest gift bees have given me.
Thanks to 3Bee technology, you can remotely adopt your chosen hives and monitor them 24 hours a day. By tracking the bees' main biological parameters - such as weight, temperature, humidity and sound intensity - you can follow their progress, growth and health status directly from your smartphone. The beekeeper will take care of your bees.
You will also receive your digital certificate via email. If the adoption is a gift, you can print it out and give it directly to the recipient.
If you choose to adopt hives and receive their honey, once your bees produce it, you will receive their honey directly to your home. All you have to do is select the favorite flowering, the amount of honey you want to receive, and wait for your bees to produce it.
We respect the bees' and beekeeper's production time, and you can check in your profile when the honey is scheduled to be delivered.
Meanwhile, from the app you can follow the work done by your bees.
