Gocce di Miele di Mauro Rutto

Piemonte, IT

I am part of 3Bee's 'Oasis of Biodiversity' project. You can adopt one of my hives. This project allows me to regenerate biodiversity by caring for bees using innovative technologies developed by 3Bee. Here you can choose to adopt your hive from a distance and I will take care of it using the best techniques.

My history

Mr Mauro Rutto began his experience in the world of beekeeping in 2012, building his first apiary consisting of 9 hives. Now there are 4 apiaries for a total of 27 beehives, all located on the heights that frame Lake Orta. The apiaries are of the sedentary type so they make the most of what the territory offers, interacting with it and following the seasonal rhythms. Thanks to the work of the bees, they produce typical and unique honeys: acacia, millefiori and chestnut. The hives are conducted without the use of any synthetic chemical substances. In the honey extraction laboratory, the combs are uncapped by hand and the honey is extracted by centrifugation, without heat treatments that would damage the vitamin and enzyme content. This allows us to obtain and offer a natural product just as it is made by bees!

What do you adopt

Together with the 3Bee agronomists we analyzed the best set of Plants to regenerate the soil, produce nectar and restore biodiversity to the area. Selected dozens of Italian Growers among Beekeepers and Farmers, provided them with the plants free of charge. We pay them every year for every plant they care for and grow. Adopt a plant that helps sustainable beekeeping and farming communities and contribute to the regeneration of biodiversity.
